       L.D. Quarter Horses is owned and operated by Laura Freilino with the help of her husband Duane Freilino.  L.D. Quarter Horses goes hand in hand with Shooters Services Unlimited because they both provide guiding services.  Shooters Services Unlimited is owned by Duane Freilino, who does guided hunts.  Laura at L.D. Quarter Horses does scenic horseback rides. Laura was born and raised in Harney County.  She has hunted most of the High Desert with her dad since she was 9 years old.  She has been riding horses since she was 3 years old.  Laura knows all the best horseback riding trails like the back of her hand.  She can guide you through the tall yellow pine or the high desert on your favorite pony.  Since she does all the cooking for her husband's hunting clients you can be reassured that you will have a home cooked meal away from home.  L.D.        Another great feature of L.D. Quarter Horses is Video Editing and Sales Marketing.  Laura has 9 plus years in the banking industry.  There she learned about marketing and sales.  With her lifetime knowledge of horses, video cameras, computer editing and marketing programs, Laura can take video of your horses and market them onto a DVD or post them to the internet to help you get top dollar for your horse.

      

L.D. Riders Prayer

Dear God in Heaven
Give me strength to guide my horse
Make my hands soft and my head clear
Let my horse understand me and I him

My heart you have blessed with a special love of these animals,
Let me never lose sight of it.
My soul you have gifted with a deep need for them.
Let that need never lessen

Always let my breath catch as the sun gleams on an elegant coat and head,
Alway may my throat tighted at eh sound of a gentle nicker.
Let the scent of fresh hay and a new bag of grain be sweet to me.
Let the touch of a warm nose on my hand always bring a smile.

I adore the joy of a warm day on the farm

With all the things that Laura is doing, you must be wondering why is she adding Horse Training, Lessons and Practices???  Well we all know how tough the economy is right now and if you read the riders prayer then you might have a pretty good idea that Laura is Horse Crazy!   But it not just horse crazy that keeps her going it also that chance to stay at home and raise her baby girl.  Laura takes her baby girl, Melody, everwhere she goes.  Melody is just as much a part of L.D. Quarter Horses as Laura is.
